Last week Room 2 joined Room 11 for a very special trip to Owhata Marae at Hinemoa Point. We even stayed the night in the wharenui together; for some of us, it was our first sleep over! Not only did we have a fantastic end of the year trip, but we also learnt a lot about living under one shelter with others. It was great learning for our term four inquiry (Shelter Matters), and it helped us to practice the co-operative skills we have been learning all year in our thinking groups.
