Last week Room 2 joined Room 11 for a very special trip to Owhata Marae at Hinemoa Point. We even stayed the night in the wharenui together; for some of us, it was our first sleep over! Not only did we have a fantastic end of the year trip, but we also learnt a lot about living under one shelter with others. It was great learning for our term four inquiry (Shelter Matters), and it helped us to practice the co-operative skills we have been learning all year in our thinking groups. Pass It!
Whaea Aherai (Whaea Katie is sorry if she spelt it wrong) has been coming in to teach us ball skills. It's been lots of fun! Check out some of the photos Whaea Katie took on our new school camera!
